Biking to the MAX: North Plains

This morning it feels for the first time like we’re transitioning into Autumn. It has turned significantly cooler than it has been most of the last month – it is around sixty when I leave home a bit after sunrise – and a refreshing breeze from the northwest leaves the air feeling fresh and freed for the moment of the smoke we’ve been enduring for the past week or so.Just in time, too. This is the first day that encourages me to venture out for a longer ride. A bit longer and it would be too late – we leave for Spain Tuesday, and I’ve been wanting to get out for a last good look at the end of summer before we leave.
